Teamwork
Maybe it's just me, but I've been pretty lucky lately with my pick-up groups when it comes to getting decent group members. People who know how to pay as part of a group, how to let a tank or the healer do thier job...
In the past I've had my share of poor PUGers, and I've read plenty of horror stories about them on the WoW forums - people deliberatly fighting for aggro with the tank, attacking the wrong target, or even going AFK without letting people know.
So... why? Why do people do things like that? Is it ignorance, or arrogance?
Erm, yea... I don't have much else to say with this blog, just a general message to anyone who reads it... please, when you're in a group, think of the group, and your roll in the group. I might be a Prot-specc'd palladin, but I'll heal if I need to, DPS if we have a better tank/the group wants someone else to tank... I do what the group needs. If I don't want to heal/etc., I'll just not join the group. Not join, let everyone think I'll heal, then pop Righteous Fury and start tanking.
Oh, and paladins CAN NOT tank and heal at the same time... tanking gear sucks for healing, and casting heals makes it impossible for you to block/parry, so you take more damage, and it generates less than half the threat that actually hitting the mob would, so you loose aggro, to. Please, don't ask someone to tank and heal. :P
